We’ll design your new space and curate your dream setting from the ground up. We’ll work alongside an architect to create a custom floor plan, communicate cosmetic choices with your contractor, and finish it all off with stylized furnishings.
Renovations
We’ll completely transform your current space. We’ll oversee your renovation, discussing structural alterations with your contractor and improving the layout. We’ll make cosmetic upgrades, and then complete the project with furnishings.
Redesign
We’ll recreate your existing space. Through brand new furniture, a functional layout, and simple cosmetic upgrades, your rooms will be beautifully refined into a space that you love!
Reorganize
We’ll make the most of what you already own. If you’re looking to improve your space with little investment, we’ll reorganize your belongings and rearrange your furniture in order to maximize the look and functionality of your room.
3D Rendering
We’ll design a virtual floor plan to help you visualize and make decisions about your space. (We offer 3D Renderings in the beginning phase of each of our services or as a stand alone service.)
Design Process
1. Vision
Step one is to get together and discuss your goals for your current or future space. We'll listen to your concerns and desires to better understand your needs. We'll share ideas on how to problem-solve and create a space that suits your lifestyle. Together, we’ll develop an initial vision that we can build upon. This consultation is $75 and will last approx. 30 minutes. By the end of our chat, you should know if this vision can be accomplished with your budget, and you can decide to proceed with the project.
2. layout
We’ll design two strong layouts that we believe would work well for your space. These plans can range from furniture placement to structural renovations, to completely new floor plans that we can hand over to an architect. Additionally, we can provide you with 3D renderings for better visualization. We’ll have a second meeting to discuss what you like and dislike about each option. After our talk, we'll make any necessary changes and finalize the planned layout.
3. style
After coming up with a game plan for the overall layout, we’ll dig in deeper and formulate the mood, tones and style for your setting. This is when we take additional time to get to know you, your tastes, your interests and daily activities. Is your style vintage and moody? Is it bright and colorful? Modern and sleek? Do you have any personal interests we can incorporate in the design? Like… music, nature, cars, coffee, etc. It’s our job to put the pieces together and bring about a setting where you feel perfectly at home.
4. Cosmetics
It’s time for the tough decisions. There’s an unlimited number of combinations of paint colors, wallpapers and wood stains to choose from. There’s so many ways to be cosmetically creative, it can be overwhelming. That’s why we’re here curate everything for you based on your style… from colors, to cabinets, to fixtures, to flooring, to accent walls, to trim details. In addition, we’ll communicate these decisions with your contractor and oversee your project to it’s completion.
5. Furnishings
Next comes the hunt… the hunt to find the perfect furniture, curtains, rugs, decor and more. This requires a lot of thought and time searching. Thankfully we have access to exclusive furniture distributors that aren’t available to the general public. This quickens our search for quality-made pieces that are unique in style. We find unique vintage items to match your style and mood, adding character to your space. Most importantly, we include pieces that reflect your interests and suit your everyday life.
6. Reveal
Finally, all of our strategizing, styling, searching and selecting will culminate into the ultimate space that you’ll love to live in for years to come. We’ll lay out the furniture in the most functional way and arrange the decor in a manner that is pleasing to the eye. We’ll ensure that everything is perfectly put in its place, well-organized and ready for you to fully enjoy, finishing off a beautifully crafted project that embodies your personality. Then comes the highly anticipated big reveal!
